TPP2 TUTORIAL 1 (GROUP)

Pre Tutorial Critical Reflection -
List 3 priorities below to discuss at your tutorial:
1. MOOD-BOARD FEEDBACK WHAT ARE YOU GETTING?
2. FOCUS ON DIGITAL DESIGN / 3D DESIGN? EXTERNAL MANUFACTURING > HARD MATERIALS
3. THEMES : THE EXPANDING FORM , PERMENANCE & IMPERMENANCE, COMFORT & FAMILIARITY
During your Tutorial:
- Look at material driven for home recipes
- How can you collaborate / connect into people?
- Think about how you can add value to your work through emotional connection
- What is the narrative?
- Consider scale- what scale? but more importantly why? what does scale achieve? how does it work with the narrative of the work?
- A lot of your inspiration is really architectural- how are you exploring/imagining/seeking out spaces for your work? - *maybe come back to this when you have a stronger idea of what it is you're aiming to make and say

Personal comments
- feeling a little unsure of my project direction at this point due to covid restrictions , what am I making, aiming for?
- nervous about studio reopening and being out of touch with making processes
- Interrogate your themes - think deeper- why are you exploring what you are? - revisit beginning for the project, where did it ll stem from? this may help you find that emotional resonance you are searching for
- Return to TPP1 feedback and pick out key sections
- Likelihood of studio opening before Easter is positive - prepare!
